Arts Requirements
The bachelor of arts degree emphasizes a broad education. Required labwork is less for a bachelor of arts degree than it is for a bachelor science degree. This degree is recommended for those intending to pursue law school or a teaching certificate. Students earning a bachelor of arts in chemistry must satisfy both departmental and college requirements.
College Requirements
All students graduating from the College of Arts and Sciences must complete Essential Studies and Integrative Studies requirements.
Departmental Requirements
The Chemistry Department requires all students seeking a bachelor of science in chemistry to complete a program including courses in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
