Research Interests

Analytical instrumentation necessary for organic and organometallic chemistry, materials science and biochemistry

Current Research

The Research Instrumentation Facility serves all university research programs, contacts at local universities and industrial contacts in the Lincoln area. We have UV-Vis and IR spectrophotometers, two low resolution GC-MS, atomic absorption spectrometers, polarimeter, CD (Circular Dichroism spectrophotometer), TGA (thermal gravimetric analysis), and four Bruker NMR spectrometers (300 MHz, 400 MHz, 500MHz and 600MHz). See the RIF webpage for more details. I have many interests in chemistry, but my major interest is the use of instrumentation to solve chemical and biological problems.
